A Custom Monogram
Southern women are taught to value their monogram like their grandmother's pearls. As much as I have tried to resist over monogramming my possessions, one of my most favorite wedding gifts was our monogrammed stationery. I am completely smitten with these custom monograms by Allison R. Banks Designs. Whether you have a two, three, or four letter monogram you can choose the style lettering you prefer and work directly with an artist to design exactly what you want. Once your monogram is set, you can have letterpress plate or rubber stamp created that can be used on stationery, note cards, packages and more. The middle design below is literally calling my name!

Mac & Murphy
I have been hearing about Mac & Murphy for while. For whatever reason I rarely get over to this side of town. This is the sweetest paper store! I wanted to buy a little of everything.
I couldn't get enough of the cheeky cards on the wall.
This card is very Charleston appropriate.
My mom would go nuts for the reversible wrapping paper hanging on the wall.
I left with visions of Christmas cards in my head. I've never participated in this tradition but I think it's time to start.
I did indulge in a few Susy Jack office supplies. Bright, cheery calendars and to do list's make for a productive work environment. All in all the store is very cute and has some impressive products. You should definitely check it out!

Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.
How can you not love a blog like this? She writes a thank you note everyday, mostly to things that can't talk back.
I love this one. Card writing is a lost art. Have fun reading through all her posts!

Take note of this
Can we talk about how cute these are? I bought them the other day and can't wait for the mail to get here! I think I am going to get a gold monogram on them too. Head over to Jack and Lulu to see all of the stationery in the Gold Collection.

Just Peachy
Peaches* are a sweet summer snack. Lately I have been putting sliced peaches in my Greek yogurt in the morning and adding a little granola. It's a great way to start the day! There are some beautiful recipes below but I still think one of my favorite ways to eat them is just sliced and plain. I need to try the recipe for cobbler to see if it comes close to my Grandma's cobbler. Leave it to Martha Stewart's team to create one of the prettiest cobblers I have ever seen.
What is your favorite summer fruit? Do you cook with peaches throughout the summer?
I am really loving all of this stationery. I'm not sure I could pick my favorite. They are all so cute!
*Disclaimer: This blog is not entirely about food. I just really love food from the south.
